I chose Fisk University because as a child I dreamed about coming here.I am so delighted that I made it my choice. But I did apply to other institutions but for Fisk was best for me.

Super Brilliant
Fisk University is a great school....very loving and dedicatede faculty...u are pushed to succeed but really, students should be spared the drama of the school wanting to lose accreditation.Financial aid is superb, small class size, terrible old buildings!

Quite Bright
I love Fisk University and my Fisk family. It has its ups and downs like any other college. You will have discussions and experiences you can not get at any other place. The staff you will easily get to know. You will have your fun days, where you would hear music in the cafeteria and on the yard, guys playing football on the yard, game nights in the lounge, etc. Then you will have your quiet days with little distractions. Also, since it is a small campus, everybody will probably know who you are (if you are social enough) and know your business. The facilities need some fixing up and are not up-to-date at all. I will admit that Fisk is not for everybody. It greatly depends on the type of person you are and where you want to go in life.
