I am a Communication major student at KingJul 12 2020Communications
I am a Communication major student at King University, Knoxville. I would like to share my journey from a person looking for a degree path that fetches a good career, to the student getting enrolled in a top University and taking the program which, I was looking for. My experience with King University has been awesome from the beginning. My first interaction at the college was with Mr. Anthony Lanagan, the international student advisor. As a student advisor, he gave me ample of his quality time and guided me on how to get my transcripts and previous courses evaluated for credit transfer. The communication program covers topics such as interpersonal communication, editing, marketing, ethics, organization, media communication and, advanced speech. The spectrum of skills related to any professional job is covered in this program. I was amazed to know that Anthony himself, was enrolled for this communication program. With, COVID-19, King University adopted the online method for the students. In this class, I interacted with my professors for the first time. The professors are highly qualified yet so simple and down to earth. The eagerness of the professors to share their knowledge encouraged me, even more, to perform better. The professors I know here are Dr. Alyssa Sloan and Dr. Cassandra Ray. Both have many degrees and, huge and continual experience decorating their career paths. I feel the professors put in as much hard work as students to get their students to learn something useful and important. King University management does commendable work with keeping the precise track to everything related to each student enrolled with the University. The online library is available for the students and has thousands of articles from a variety of databases. Last but not the least, the best part of King University is the ethics King University community follows, and the warmth that is shared among each other within the community.
