Yet, it seems like more and more every day I'm being let down. Coming from the music department, I would say that it is not at all what I expected. You have perspective students come in and audition, they tell them how great they are on the first day, then don't care about them ever again. If you're good at sucking up, the Lee University Music Program is right for you! It's really sad to go by practice room after practice room hearing such spectacular talent; however, each and every one of them are being blatantly disregarded due to the close-minded, arrogant faculty placed in the School of Music. They can point to counseling, point to services, but when reality dictates you need help, they expect you to go and unload your guts "what is the reason you are here?" to a fellow STUDENT WORKER! How absurd. You visit with the student (you know) and then say "I just came to say 'hi'" ?. Also, if you have any disability, like ADD or anything like that, there is absolutely NO HELP beyond mere TALK. One of the worst classes was taught by a junior high teacher who worked at Lee on the side?. ugh! Don't go here. Its better to get a degree at a respected school, and attend a Christian group at that school, than to be in the middle of a "Christ-centered" school that is all about money? by the way, if you pay cash for 3 years of college, but owe a small amount on your senior year, no transcript for you, and yes, they can legally do that!
