I could NEVER recommend someone go to this school. While many things about the school are average or better, the school does an incredibly poor job of paperwork and handling graduations. I get the impression that they want my money, and could not care less about anything else. Parking is very poor. There are far too few parking spots for people to use, but the school seems very happy to hand out parking tickets for parking in a grass lot that the school owns, but doesn't use. I guess it's cheaper to take student's money than it is to pave that lot. Also, the school is infamous for saying you are ready to graduate upon passing 'X' classes, and then coming back after you have passed those classes with good grades and requiring you to take more classes to graduate. They've done it to several of my friends, they've done it to my girlfriend, and they've done it to me. Please don't support this kind of mickey mouse garbage with your tuition money.

Also, another thing to add that I forgot in my other review. I have Asperger syndrome, which is a mild form of autism, and it sometimes affects my ability to study and prioritize (I have deficits in what is called executive functioning, which is the part of your brain that is responsible for planning, organization, self-reflection, motivation, etc). That being said, I don't trust the Disability Services department to even understand what it is, much less provide adequate treatment or accommodations. If you don't literally sound retarded they will refuse to believe that you need help or are disabled at all.If you have a disability that will seriously interfere with your ability to study on your own, to the point where you need help from the university of you will fail, DO NOT COME HERE. In my case I am a milder case I'm able to do well academically with a little help from my parents and planning notebooks. Socially, I still struggle a lot, but it's not anything new to me. I've met a couple good, understanding friends here.

All I can say is DO NOT COME HERE. There are probably community colleges which are better. There are millions of things why UM sucks from the worst administration ever to those who look to just collect a check than teach to the lack of having or even feeling like a college. I'm transferring!
