Prepare for college while you're still in high school. Study hard and learn, stay focused and take as much science and math as you possibly can before you get to college.

The University of Memphis provides an accessible and affordable education. Also, despite what others may say, it also offers a quality education if that is what *you* want to get out of it. Just as with any learning institution there are going to be students who just float through the classes and somehow manage to pass and graduate, but the UofM offers much more than that to students who really hold the desire to learn. If you give your all when it comes to research assignments and exam preparation you are going to learn! The difficulty is there if you apply yourself.

As far as the faculty in concerned, the majority of the instructors I had were passionate about the topics they taught, and it really added value to the lectures.Overall, it's a great university with a very diverse student body. I would recommend it to any student want to attend school in Memphis.
