Do an accounting intership (for undergraduates) - this will give you an advtg for finding you first job 3. Get you CPA as soon as possible - during last year of grad school or 1 or 2 yrs thereafer4. Relocate. Relocate. Relocate. If you can get a job with the big 4 acctg firms - do it and relocate if necessary- even if for only a couple of years. This will help your resume tremendously.
