Do NOT spend your money on this schoolBrightReligion/Religious
Do NOT spend your money on this school if you want to be prepared for ministry. I worked in ministry all throughout college and can honestly say I did not learn a single thing from the classes I took about how to effectively do ministry. Everything is fluff here. People leave here looking for internships at age 23 because they have no idea how to actually do ministry because the school does not prepare them. It's simply not worth the money that you would pay. Save your money and go to a state school. It's not worth going here if you're going to graduate with debt.

Question
Not a good school, at all.BrightReligion/Religious
Not a good school, at all. I learned very little and they overcharge tremendously. On campus housing is insanely expensive and food is bad. Half of the professors in the ministry department are arrogant and the students there follow their lead. The admissions and financial office is not rude, but they are extremely unhelpful. The entire place reeks of a lack of professionalism. Don't waste your money on this school. You will meet good people anywhere you go, but you shouldn't have to go into debt just to get a mediocre education at the hands of professors who just teach from books. If I wanted to learn from a book, I wouldn't have paid over 100,000 dollars just to attend this school. Chapels are lame, unless you grew up in an incredibly traditional environment. I've met a lot of good people here, but the school itself is a nightmare. There's a lot more you can get for your money.

Question
This school, suppose to be a Christian basedNursing
This school, suppose to be a Christian based school, was judge mental from the get go. I bent over backwards to get in to the nursing program was accepted and even during the interview it was based on my beliefs. Not having all the same beliefs as the lady accepting she hated me from the start. I wasn't married and had a child and even during orientation. She made sure to single out myself to not shop for wedding dresses. I graduated from my previous college with a 4.0 and she made it impossible for me to continue even when I was passing HER class with a 99!! My husband was diagnosed with cancer this year and this is two years after I withdrew from school because she refused to show me a paper that I supposedly failed and decided to start billing me hundreds of dollars. I had to pay them to continue my nursing degree before I lost my credits because they were withholding my transcript. I definitely should have took up the other classmates offer in going to the news and paper because the lady there does not deserve her job. Far from Christian she is, I may not live my life to walk the straight line every day but I go to church and I believe and I have doubts but that should not have represented me. I was a student she will watch succeed farther than anyone else she has had!! So finished with Union and everyone think before you're sucked in!
