It is a shame that Austin Community College stalls it's student's ability to enter it applied science courses due to ridiculous assessments and the fact that ACC makes every course prerequisites of each other making it a slow and time consuming process. ACC needs to get it together a build campuses with all courses in the catalog available at each individual campus like SAC, SPC, PA& NWV-in San Antonio Texas. ACC is in the capital city they ought to make set the standard and serve their community better...

The education was good but the university tries to screw you out of every dollar and cent. They are also the only univeristy I have attended that requires payment for transcripts, yet they are the worst at sending them out. The administrative staff is mostly composed of incompetent, rude people. This issue has screwed me twice. Once trying to get into an undergraduate program and second trying to get into a graduate programs. Their failure to send transcripts to my prospective programs greatly delayed admission decisions. The cheap tuition is not worth the headaches with administration.
I also had an incident in high school where I was trying to take an EMT classes duel credit through ACC. They were supposed to reserve spots for us. They had me take the TASP test, go through advising, and then told me that they hadn't reserved the spots. So, I was out of luck after all my effort.
