| Quite Bright | ACU is overall is very good school. I will admit that the typical stereotype is true (rich, from DFW, drives nice cars, sperry's, northface, coach purses everywhere, preppy, church of christ, far right, knows lots of people before coming to college, and the girls dressing cute for class) but that is not the case for everyone. i probably fall more into the stereotype, but I have a lot of friends that do not. ACU does not push the church of christ and i am not CofC and i have not been seen as an outcast. a lot of people have friends before they get to ACU, but everyone that i have met is open to meeting new people. the dorms are bigger then most, and the campus and clean and beautiful and the campus cops make you feel safe. the walking track is lit and has emergency buttons along the way and the cops are always patrolling. the faculty is AMAZING! they are always there to help, and like to get to know all the students and care for them! the work for me is not too much to bear, but is still challenging. and as for abilene, it can be boring at times. but fun is what you make it. there is more to do then drink! there's plenty of fun stuff to do with friends!! | Faculty Accessibility: A+, Surrounding City: D | | | |

| Bright | I could have gone anywhere, and I'm glad I chose ACU. I have never received negative comments about attending ACU. Places where I have interviewed have treated ACU with respect. ACU has played a huge part in my life. I had great friends who were a good influence. Most of my professors were a good value. I benefited from the emphasis on the spiritual. I was able to find a job quickly after graduation and was well prepared for public accounting. My understanding of the Church was expanded. So what should you do? Jump into ACU. Meet as many people as you can. Get out of your confort circle and meet people who are different. Be involved in a local congregation. Go on a mission trip. Learn. Take advantage of every opportunity. When it's over...it's over...so soak up all of it you can...and you will carry it with you for life. | Starting Job: Senior Accounting, Preparedness: B, Reputation: B | | |

| Average | Great university for teaching and preparing students for the world outside of the ACU bubble. Innovative and cutting edge. ACU faculty are extremely accessible and helpful, something not to be found at a state school. The education was great and prepares students for graduate school. A bit expensive. The only downside was the focus on "social clubs". These clubs were similar to frats/sororities only much more obnoxious and celebrated. ACU could really do its social image a favor by ignoring these clubs. The clubs however, perform in the spring Sing Song event bringing lots of money to the school. Therefore, ACU will continue to promote social clubs because they bring money into the university. Overall: great school! | Faculty Accessibility: A+, University Resource Use: C- | | | |
