Super Brilliant
Long after I transferred out of Angelo State, I got a random, instant message from a former classmate there (I barely even knew) looking to buy drugs. I have never done drugs nor was I in "the loop" while at Angelo State. I hadn't even talked to this person since I left.

That should tell you more than enough about the school. Oh, and to whomever said that Angelo State is a private school with a public school price, you don't have a clue. Most private schools in Texas are at least known outside of Texas. Angelo State is not.

Bright
Good School, Nice Campus, Incredible Professors, if you want a big D1 school experience its a horrible choice. If you want a private school experience for a public school price this is a great place.

Super Brilliant
White Trash State University
Only good thing I can say about the school is that I've had some good professors (granted I cherry picked them) and the administration was approachable.

The majority of kids I was in class with were trailer trash or slacker students in high school with no aspirations. I heard too many of them complain about a professor because he or she would not take work past the deadline (and we alwayws had plenty of time). San Angelo is a big drug town out in the middle of no where and there's not much to do. Way too many kids on campus more interested in doing meth than school work. Also, too many kids here from the local San Angelo high schools who are too scared to leave San Angelo and go to a major university, so they stay with their high school cliques and pretend to be in the 13th grade. Horrible place to try and meet long-lasting friends. This just isn't a place for people who are serious about having a college experience and going out into the real world. The majority of the decent students here transfer out after a semester or two.
