I am a working adult and CCCC is the first college I have attended. My learning experience has been very positive. There are several campus locations-Plano, Frisco, McKinney that allow you to take classes close to you.
I would recommend seeking out Dr. Morgan for Government classes, Dr. Adler for Economics, and Mrs. Broussard for College Algebra. They are very competent instructors who offer the serious student an engagine and fulfilling semester.
The campus is always clean and well maintained. A math lab offers assistance in all areas of math. However, do not go to the math lab for a quick question, you will be there for a while. The learning resource center offers a fully stocked library, writing center, and computer access. I highly recommend CCCC to anyone. The cost of education is very reasonable. Good luck!

The math department is fantastic. I love it. There is a lot of help and support there. The student body is great too, very down to earth and friendly people.I do not recommend the CNA (Certified Nurse Aide) program at Collin County, beware of some of these instructors.

Collin County Community College, all campuses--
Almost everyone is friendly, students and staff. Some of the courses are not difficult enough to prepare you for what lies ahead at 4-year colleges/universities, so choose professors who do not give away grades just because you came and turned in all work. That is not the way universities work.
Also, the number of foreign students continues to increase, so be prepared to hear lots of languages besides English and Spanish. They seem to take up more and more class space and many seem to need lots of the free tutoring help. Overall, it is a good 2-year college and offers a variety of just 2-year degrees, if you are not going on to a university.
