The campus has good outer upkeep cause the guys are always mowing the lawns and such but the housekeeping in the new nursing and science building can be upgraded cause the women's bathrooms are atrocious by far. Some of the professors here are good if they care about teaching but there are some who spout about not caring either way cause we're all grown-ups...there is great diversity because we're located by post so for us single girls there's lots of single soldiers walking around...especially if you take classes on post which are by far faster (8 weeks) and easier depending on who you have. it's not really competitive...unless you make it for yourself and uphold your own standards...otherwise...just do your best cause some students care about their education more than others...

The theatre department has exceeded all of my expectations. CTC's faculty is very well educated and I would say that some of them are among the best instructors I have studied under. The classes are a perfect mixture of academics and life practicum. The student body is a good mixture of adults (continuing education) and those freshly out of high school which makes for a very positive learning environment. Overall, Central Texas College provides for a very sound foundation on which to launch ones college experience in my humble opinion.

I loved going to ctc in Killeen Texas up until this past semester They suspended my financial aid right before it was time for me to start nursing school. The bookstore never orders enough books for the number of students for their classes and in this case the professor usually will place the first few chapters online until the school gets more books. My professor did not do this so for my 12 week class that I was taking without a book, i started failing then finally 3 weeks into class that is when the school orderd more books. My professor did not push back the dates for the midterm nor the final so I was forced to just throw myself in to study for an exam in two days in which i ended up failing. for this one class that i failed i lost my financial aid.
