The school is not a bad college ifQuite BrightCriminal
The school is not a bad college if you want to just get a degree and make a couple connections in the process. But As far as the facilities go they are not up to par with the money that is being paid. There are teachers and staff who really care but there are also staff members who are not straight forward. There is a lot of bias towards certain students and the higher ups pick and choose who they target. Staff members know who participates in illicit activities and they allow some of them to maintain such activities but crack down on others. Punishments are not handed out equally and are not just. There is also a lack of organization.

Question
I think Jarvis has a long way to go.Super BrilliantPolitical Science
I think Jarvis has a long way to go. The new president, Dr. Thomas, is making great strides but there is ALOT to fix. It's true that college is what you make of it. I'm doing very well (4.0) and have a great time. But its all for the wrong reasons. The only reason I'm doing so well, i think, is that everyone else around me is completely stupid. A lot of the work feels like middle school. No exageration. If you feel like you're a bright student, you'd pretty much be wasting your time here. I'm on my way out this coming semester. I'm not being challenged. If thats something thats important to you, this isn't the school for you. If you want to skate through and just get a degree to say you have one, by all means, do it! College is college. But a better college is better! Good luck. God bless.

Question
I've had a very good experience at Jarvis.Computer Science
I've had a very good experience at Jarvis. Not only that i've learned a lot but i've also met life long friends that wouldn't trade for the world. JCC also helped build me up spiritually and mentally. A good college experience is what you make of it. If JCC had a graduate school, i would definitely return.
