Quite Bright
I been at PV for four years and they have all been wonderful years. PV isn't one of those schools u seem to think u can slide through with a degree. You have to work just as hard if you were at a Stanford, Harvard, or Texas. Don't take away anything from PV because of your opinions but try to thrive to be the best student u can be against all odds that seem to stand in your way.

Super Brilliant
Just getting to know people. But I guess thats at all universities, especially if you are used to being at home (homebody). The faculty can be helpful, but finanical aid SUCKS!!! If you are thinking about attending PV, you should make sure your financial aid is there ahead of time. They will drop you from your classes if they are not paid for on time. HONESTLY, if you can get passed dealing with finanicial aid, and some of the professors then its really a GOOD school, the enviroment is nice and the campus is BEAUTIFUL. PV is ranked one of the BEST in the nation as far as academics, and its true!

Not so bright
In 2004 I was a freshman. I expressed my interest in voting for John Kerry for president in one of my classes. My professor and fellow students were appalled at me, as they each that "liberals" are in some way evil, and that any indication that you would vote Democrat would be frowned upon. As a result, I was chastized and abused by fellow students. I was demerited for practically anything on a daily basis and was not allowed to leave campus even on weekends-I felt like a prisoner and was seriously afraid. I was told by a professor that things may change if I would simply say that I would vote for president Bush. Finally, I could not take being a prisoner anymore and dropped out in late October. All I can say is that this was the worst academic/spiritual/psychological event in my life.

I want to forget I ever even heard about PV and go on in my life to be a good Chrisian, something that this school does nothing of the sort. Also the students here are very abusive the will steal from you so watch your back and dont walk in the dark. I also was in the band in the so called B.O.X and the Hazes after every practice beating me with the paddle and the band directors act like they dont see it but they do those stupid black people.
