I went two years in the graduate program. Some of the teachers were excellent. One could be replaced by a rubber band. He gave grades with no explanation. I made "A's" in all the others but couldn't seem to make it in his. He refused to return comments, emails, and phone calls. This put a real damper on my view of SAGU. One complete asshole ruins it for their university. If they had a bigger course selection, you could avoid him but you can't. What sucks is you pay the money and then get treated like dirt. A reasonable explanation is all I wanted. Never got it. I figure someone will give it to him down the road...he deserves it.

Great place to meet friends and also get a degree! I have loved it!

Education

Southwestern Assemblies of God University is a great place to get your four year degree and your Masters. I enjoyed the campus and the staff was very kind and helpful to all the students.

Education

I have had nothing but positive learning experience at this school. The faculity seems to go out of their way to help in any way they can. The education that I have received is invaluable.

Religion/Religious

I have been overly pleased with the quality of most of my graduate instructors. I have been driven to the brink of lunacy by the office workers and registration process. Communication is not one of this institutions strong points. This lack of communication coupled with the lack of efficiency in the administrative offices creates a serious determent.

I have had many great experiences at SAGU, however sometimes my observation has been that "the powers that be" are more concerned with enrolling students rather than keeping students. Also, priority seems to be on perception (buildings, sidewalks, PR) rather than on students and their needs. If it weren't for the great professors I've had, I would not have stayed at SAGU.

We should work on the book selection - how can we write papers with no books?
