The online ADN toQuite BrightNursing
The online ADN to BSN degree did not offer all of the required degree courses online. If you do not complete your courses taken at another university within 3 months of graduation date, you will have to wait another 4 months before they will issue you your degree.

Question
I found that Schreiner had a great learningPsychology
I found that Schreiner had a great learning support program for students with learning disabilities but you got to be qualified for it or else you will get little to no help at all from it if you don't. Just like every college it has its own issues but both the town and university are very small which was different from what I was used too when I got here. Almost everyone will know your business when there is conflict between students and the town is a place for retirement where you will sometimes feel like the odd one out in certain places. My experience has had its ups and downs both academically and socially so if you grew up in the country somewhere around the state then Schreiner would be the best for you. Most of the professors there are not bad but a few of them have issues. Just make sure talk to them in person for about a week and show them that you care and always do your work.

Question
Foliage and Weather:Quite BrightNursing
Foliage and Weather:

Schreiner has a beautiful campus- this region of Texas is generally beautiful because it's very hilly and grassy- a bit rural but there's a river that runs the town that's very nice to visit. During the spring the wild flowers fill the fields if they received enough rain over the fall/winter. However there's a really dry heat over the summer and unless the lawn is being watered- it pretty much kills everything but the trees. It's really fun floating down the rivers around the Hill Country though.

Nursing Program:
I was a non-traditional student. I didn't live on campus and had a family and home to take care of. That said- going into the new nursing program you needed to be dedicated. With the amount and effort and time devoted to school- there truly is no room for anything outside of nursing. You need to eat-breathe- sleep nursing and you need to love it. They want you to go with them over the summer to other countries and just leave everything else behind. Needless to say, you need to sacrifice a lot in order to succeed here and I was not willing to do that.

I also have to mention that though it is a 4 year program, my adviser- who was actually the nursing program's director, did not adequately schedule my classes within in the school over the last 4 semesters so that I could enter the clinical section of the program during my Junior year. I had to take the classes at another school over the summer.
