Super Brilliant
I'm a Veteran transient student at San Jac. Unfortunately this place, San Jac- south, has no clue what their doing with regards to Chapter 30 and Chapter 33 V.A. benefits. I've been attending school for two weeks and they haven't submitted my enrollment of verification to the V.A. regional office. They aren't fully up to date when it comes to G.I. Bill benefits, they use financial aid reps to handle G.I. bill accounts which have nothing in common. As soon as my 8 week courses are done i'll be extremely glad to transferred out.
Collaboration/Competitive: A, Individual Value: F

This is the most money grubbing idiotic school I have ever attended. I am a veteran of the US Navy and as such recieve VA benefits which allow me to go to school tution paid, YET, I am required to stand in the same lines and put on hold for 45 freaking minutes with losers begging for "Obamafunds" so "dey can get some edumacatin." SO freaking idiotic that their recorded message asks "if you know your parties extension please dial it now", but when you ask for the extension they say, "I am not authorized to give out that number!" How idiotic is that? Walk......no......RUN away from this school and spend your hard earn money elsewhere! If you are one of the obamafunders......please keep waiting on hold............

RN program WARNING!Although an accredited Nursing program, it lacks a lot of important and true meaningful educational services.

Do not attend this program Please!
IT is very unorganized.
You pretty much pay the school to teach yourself.
They only want the best of the best, and have a way of pushing the "Non-Nursing Material" students out.

You are expected to have the brains of an actual professional nurse whose passed her NCLEX before you begin.

They tend to pick to Old, Bottom of the Barrel Professors to teach, oops, I mean to shoot down your dignity. That's right, you teach yourself.

They make their program sound grand when you are accepted but it only takes a while to figure out why these nursing professors are professors and not working "NURSES"...

Don't get me wrong there are some amazing instructors there, but unfortunately the bad professors, along with very poor program organizational skills, and the lies outweigh the good.So if you are still convinced it is the top of the nursing programs in Houston, just make sure you aren't married, have kids, or a family. They will own you, that is if you want to pass. Otherwise you can put your family first and fail! So if you are married with a kid or kids, find someone to adopt your kid/kids for 2 yrs, have your husband find another wife for 2 yrs, and go right ahead. But you will not get by that easy, you will lose some of that spunk which made you want to be a nurse in the first place, you will lose your dignity, and best of all you will do this all from a very dysfunctional program! Doesn't that sound great?
