Not so bright
The campus is beautiful. The students and atmosphere are very laid back. It is a great school, it just tries to screw everybody out of money any way that they can (but what school doesn't). The only other bad thing that I have to add is the parking situation. The parking is horrible, and as far as I know they are not doing much to improve the situation. There are so many things that you can get involved with on campus, it is very exciting and a lot of fun, however you only get out what you put in to any situation. Join clubs!! For example a Greek Organization, they are fun and relativley small, which makes it an even better experience!

Quite Bright
This is a goood university that is growing in the right direction. The quality of teaching is good and the class sizes aren't too bad... and when they are, professors are still very accessible... The negatives of this university are that many students seem apathetic or uninterested in learning, and Corpus Christi is pretty boring. If you are self-motivated and interested in learning, i feel one can get a good education here.

Although, people on average are pleasant- there is an undercurrent of predjuce that runs through the university. A religous group has printed hate speech about homosexuals and the consensus on the issue is to agree and ignore. It is a cliched southern sterotype that is true to this south texas town.
