| Average | TAMUCC is an excellent choice for someone wanting a quality education at a medium sized school. We benefit from the Texas A&M brand, although the school is separate from the College Station campus. Faculty are friendly, accessible and helpful. Many students commute so there isn't the same comaraderie you'll find at a larger, football school. (There's no football to rally around on Saturdays.) The residence halls and apartments are first rate and there is plenty to do if you look for it. The facilities are good and they are building a new rec center. Corpus is an okay college town, but I chose the school not the town. I looked at several other schools - Texas State, Tech, Angelo State, Baylor, and SF Austin but thought TAMUCC was the best fit. With around 9,000 students it's a good size. TAMUCC may not be as prestigeous as some schools, but I think I'm getting a quality education at a very good price. | Faculty Accessibility: A, Surrounding City: C+ | | | |

| Quite Bright |
Probably seen initially as the step-child of the main Texas A&M University, TAMUCC is actually quite impressive. Over the past four years of attending I watched the campus grow in size, prestige, and amount of available resources. The technology there is really impressive and 90% of the buildings are new.
One thing that struck me early on while attending is that the professors were overall very fair about testing. Also the majority of them were very open minded, interested in the students, and enjoyed the work they did. The professors in my department (Psychology) were wonderful. Truly were open to discussions, interpretation, and student involvement. The campus' school spirit isn't too high, and overall it's still a very small campus compared to many. The setting is beautiful - beaches, palm trees, warm weather, and so on. The city public transportation is pretty good if you choose to live off campus, which is easy to do (and WAY cheaper). The city life is ok. A few popular clubs, but Corpus is a small city, which is a great middle ground for city living. I had a lot of fun! There's also the beach which is REALLY popular- bon fires, beautiful night skies, and lots of beach parties pretty much every weekend if you're into that. | Education Quality: A+, Extracurricular Activities: C+ | | | |

| Quite Bright | I would say that TAMUCC was an amazing experience. The teachers are amazing and TRULY care about their students, often times I (along with classmates) was even invited to dinners/bbqs and my professors homes. Our athletic teams are slowly but surely gaining the national recognition they diserve. Also, the school is small enough to find great friends, but large enough to learn from people of various backgrounds. There is little to no pressure to join any particular group or organizations, although most students do participate in something. The student housing cannot be beat! I have worked at other universities and trust me... Camden Miramar is better than pretty much anywhere. The main gripe students have is that the cost of hosing is a little hight, but it is worth it. As a graduate the only other problem I have encountered is that often people don't know about TAMUCC, they are unaware of how good the academics are and so they decide that the school must not be that great. It is up to our current students and our recruiters to build the reputation of TAMUCC as it is definitely an amazing insitiution of higher learning. I would highly reccomment this school to students. | Preparedness: B+, Reputation: C | | |

| Quite Bright | Although A&M-CC has no reputation, the way it computates GPA actually helped me get into a better law school (I am at UT Law now). Undergrad is what you make of it. I especially enjoyed the fact that in my major I got to know the professors very well. | Preparedness: B, Reputation: D | | |
