 | Quite Bright | | I answered that given the chance, I would go to a different University. I say this not because I have anything against Texas A&M, but because I am the type of student who craves one on one attention from my professors. I need to have close and personal relationships with the people who are preparing me for the rest of my life. I can not stand being so detached from my professors. It causes me to become detached from my school work, and the downward spiral of action-reaction begins and could possibly be fateful. On another hand, the people at Texas A&M are the nicest group/population of human beings that I have ever been around in my life. I am from a huge city where being rude is the norm. College Station has it's own unique culture. If I had to use one word to describe Texas A&M/CSTX culture it would be CONSIDERATE. People are just kind in a shocking way. This leads me to my last point. Religion engulfs this town and the people living within. I think religion has shaped the "we are all family, we are the spirit", the spirit of Aggieland! Now if you want to fall in love with a University I suggest that you attend Texas A&M. Thinking about it can give me goose bumps, or even bring me to tears. There is something about this university that you will not find anywhere else in the entire world. I guarantee it. | Education Quality: A+, Surrounding City: F | | | |

| | Quite Bright | | I am very pleased about my choice to attend Texas A&M. I think Mays Business School is an excellent school. I feel that A&M will prepare me for a good future. However, going to this school is hard. I am a liberal democrat and i feel very alienated at this school. There is NO social life--unless you enjoy drinking games and country dancing (which i dont). College Station is a "college" town, but i was hoping the atmosphere would be better. Advice: if you enjoy the city, you're not conservative, and you like openminded students, GO ELSEWHERE. this is a good school in the fact that you'll get a good job afterwards, but its a struggle going here every day. I had tons of friends back in high school, but everyone is so different here, its hard to make friends (and i am quite accepting). | Education Quality: A+, Campus Aesthetics: D- | | | |
