Do, however be VERY wary of the social scene if you are not "the norm." If you seek individualism, be prepared to be lost in a sea of assorted Greek letters and colors. You will have to search for organizations and other places. If you are a person with good self confidence, however you can do just fine without going Greek. Something else to consider--I have suffered through eating disorders off and on for years. I had gone through an amazing recovery, before I transferred to this university. When I got here, however, I found myself constantly fighting it off, and suffered academically, as a result. Being surrounded by the women found all over this school was detrimental, and the environment all around me made it almost insufferable. Please do not let what I have said deter you from coming to this school. Do, however prepare yourself for the social scene at this university. . .
