 | Bright | First, I am transferring to A&M. TLU is small...small minded, small school, small everything. There is no vision whatsoever, unless it's to keep TLU in the 60's. Technology at TLU does not exist. So if you want to go to an old school with small minded faculty and administration, then TLU is for you. | Campus Aesthetics: A, Surrounding City: F | | | |

| | Bright | TLU is very over rated. They are living on past reputation. It is not a hard school. The academics are rather easy. They boast and toot their horn for themselves, but it's all BS...they love to talk about themselves but they aren't that good. Technology is wayyyyyy out dated as is the administration. These guys are still in the 70's... | Campus Aesthetics: A, Surrounding City: F | | | |

| | Average | I was at the Randolph site. This does not pertain to the main campus. I had such a good advisor that I never had to deal with anyone from the main campus, and from what I heard, I was better off for it. I loved all my professors and never really had any problem with any of them. Sure, I liked some more than others, but i don't think there were any that were bad. They were all from the main campus, or were teachers from other colleges. Some of our profs were administrators who used to be on the faculty. It was a good scene all the way around. I heard some of the nightmares from other students, but nothing bad ever happened to me. I got a good degree from a good school. My advisor also taught three of the classes I had to have and he was a wonderful instructor...tough but fair. Based on my previous degree plan, he was able to re-write my degree plan, and I finished a semester earlier than previously planned. He knew just the right classes to CLEP or DANTES. I was not associated with the military and felt fortunate to be able to go to college on an air force base. My advisor was actually the person who recruited me to TLU. I showed up at his office and he had me signed up and ready to take a class right away. It was easy to get into the Adult Studies program, and easy to make payments until my job started paying for my classes. Once I got settled in, it seemes like a breeze. I don't know why they closed the program at Randolph, but it was a huge mistake. | Individual Value: A+, Faculty Accessibility: D | | | |
