The teachers in the CST department have truly forgotten what the purpose of a school is. It is to teach, not to have people come in and know everything already. Even when they are supposed to teach you new things, they force you to learn from a book. It would be easier on yourself to not even worry about enrolling and just completing all of the book work, because you won't end up doing much else. Not only that, but the teachers actually try to scare off their students. Quoting Casey Jones here, "Absolutely nobody will make an A in this class." He pretty much tells you that you have no option but to get by as mediocre, which is not exactly building morale for the students that are in his classes. In my opinion, just don't try to get in here, it's not worth it.

Well, honestly I really feel that this is not the type of design degree you should get from this school. They just scratch the service..you learn basic skills for the design programs...you really teach yourself. It is better to go for your bachelors degree. I actually went on my first interview after i graduated and he told me i was "green"...i really don't feel it was worth the money, but it did make me want to push further to learn more. I t WAS a blessing nevertheless.

I liked my time at TSTC, however I think they could of done more with the DMD department. We learn the "BASICS" of the stuff but DMD is mostly an all in 1 degree. I think that the 3d portion should be split off into its own, and be tought more in depth. because I watched a lynda.com tutorial before i had the modeling class and i feel i learned more from that than in class. also it would be nice to learn other software like mudbox or zbrush. overall though i think it was pretty good the only thing I would really change is just more in depth teaching and give us more 3d assignments for practice instead of just 1 main project through the whole year.PS. also i just wanted to say ADOBE BOOKS SUCK (just my personal opinion)
