Texas Woman's University has helped me along the way to become a leader and knowledgeable about my career. The faculty and staff are very friendly and easy to talk to, if you ask for advice and assistance you will recieve 100% of their attention. I would recommend all new students to visit the campus before applying and to ask lots of questions during orientation or open house. No question is a dumb question. I am currently thinking about going back for my Master's Degree at TWU!

It is easy to get accepted into TWU; you will probably be admitted despite having low SAT/ACT scores or a low GPA. However, after you complete your first two years, which consist of mostly core courses, you have to apply, yet again, to a specific department. You must have a GPA of at least 3.5 in order to most health science programs such as: nursing, dietetics, nutrition, health care management, physical therapy, or occupational therapy. So it is better to complete your core courses at the community college and then apply for health science programs at TWU and other universities that have the program you?re interested in. It is extremely difficult to get into the department program you?re interested in; you may even be put on a waiting list if there are no spots left.
