If you want proofNot so bright
If you want proof of crime epidemic in UTAustin west campus. Look at apartment reviews for gated communities. Even the most expensive with cctv have car burglaries. A student told me a few of his friends were mugged in west campus austin. What makes uh feel dangerous is the lack of lighting.

UH is a really amazing campus, filled withNot so bright
UH is a really amazing campus, filled with all the wrong people. The faculty is really nice, they try to help you out as much as they can. The campus demographics are crazy though. UH is really diverse, statistically, but most of that diversity is at home taking online courses. UH main campus is run by mostly Asian everything. Nothing is wrong with that, but most of them are stuck up. Don't believe me? Go to the 3rd floor of the library. That aside, diversity means nothing if everyone sticks into groups of their own race. Really UH is just a a campus full of non-intersecting racial circles. If that's what you want then it's the place for you. I do not pay to go to UH at all with all the fin aid and scholarships I have. I would rather go to a college I had to pay for, than stay here.

Question
UH is a pretty decent school.Quite Bright
UH is a pretty decent school.
Academics are pretty decent. I have had some quite challenging professors where they graded pretty hard but there is a TON of help available. I met with my English professor quite a few times and she told me what I needed on my major papers. I struggle pretty severely with math and the CASA center is quite excellent with their tutors, they know what they are doing for sure even though they don't speak english too well. Overall I felt that I did learn a lot this semester meanwhile I got all A's.

Parking was not an issue for me at all because I paid for the welcome center garage which guarantees me a spot.

The only problem I have with the UNI is the quality of the student body. It is very very diverse which is an awesome thing, but a lot of people are very unmotivated to succeed. Drug use is extremely rampant in the dorms. I've seen my friend go from very happy to start and do well in college, to failing most of her classes because she was getting fucked up every other night in the dorms. I honestly don't mind weed at all because I smoke it as well, but there's a ton of cocaine, pills, and even crack use on campus which is really really bad.

Because of that, I really want to get out and go to a more highly regarded school where students take academics as a high priority.
