The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor is a good school, a VERY good school. It's small, a lovely campus and the staff/faculty is amazing, but the students are a different story. Many of the students are incredibly fake. They smile and hug you, then turn around and forget your name. Don't be surprised if the person who promised to study with you to help you out on the exam you're scared to death that you're going to fail never ever calls you, because they probably won't. This university is for those who aren't afraid to say "Let me call you" instead of "Give me a call when you can". It's for those who aren't too shy to say "Hey... can I go with you to (insert name of destination here)", because you PROBABLY won't be extended an invitation unless you make it abundantly clear that you're interested in going off somewhere. Be prepared for lots of boredom if you stay in town; Belton is small with nothing to do. At all. Everything seems to close at 9 PM. Austin is only an hour away, if you're willing to sit and argue for 2 hours about who's job it is to drive everybody over there.

I love the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor. The class sizes are small, average around 30 students. The professors are open to students seeking them out with questions and are readily available.
