 | Quite Bright | Before coming to the University of Houston-Victoria, they lure you in with the "facilities and ammenities" you will recieve once you are there. They have a pool that is as big as my backyard pool. The "gym" has two treadmills, one that doesnt work, a bike, and two steppers, again one that doesnt work. They have this so called "UHV GUARANTEE" that allows them to pay off you tuition and fees only the trick is that this school and so "cheap" they are not really giving you anything besides $500 each semester, making you still pay the housing bill and meal plan, along with the rest of your fees that bogus $500 dollars didnt cover. The food sucks! No wonder they warn you about the freshman 15, THEY MAKE YOU GAIN IT BY THE FATTY FOODS they have here. Refrozen salad, nonfresh fruit. Ugh, its horrible. If you want to have a slighest case of fun COME WITH A CAR, abeg. Their is only ONE country nightclub here and it also sucks. If not, make friends with people with cars but be prepared to give someone money to take you somewhere, They are really stingy with their cars here. The only thing nice about this school is that it has small classes. THAT IS IT! I advice you not to come here, if you want to see nice looking guys or girls, have fun, get involved, go out once in awhile, have friendly friends, eat healthy, workout, and have an open scenery. | | This school is postponing my graduation for an entire semester because they do not want me to take 6 classes in the fall. Filed an appeal and they denied it, counselor was unhelpful not caring, told me to split up classes to stay another 2 years? Only takin 2 classes a semester? I recommend to everyone do not attend this school, the prices are very close to the university of Houston main campus price and the amount of classes they offer can really go against a student, they sometimes offer only one elective for each major per semester. | Preparedness: -, Reputation: - | | | |
