I've been here for a year and still have not made any friends. So it was a pretty dull year. I've looked and came up empty. The mormons here are by far the most closeminded people at this school. Most of them have never gone outside of Utah before. They are rude towards people that are not mormon, and especially rude to people that have no religious affiliation. The mormon women here pretty much have one goal, which is to get married at a very young age,and most will drop out then come back 10 years later. Faculty are nice, they are approachable and easy. Course load is VERY easy at this school, ive gone to bed before 12 everynight. Social life is pretty much non existent for out-of-staters. Many dorms are very old and poorly maintained. So overall..i would not even think of returning to this school next fall

Super Brilliant
This school has poor resources for students with "disabilities". They make policy here at U.S.U. without any real consideration of the law and students' rights. If you are former military with a service dog go somewhere else. This school discriminates against the students with support and or service animals in violation of Utah and A.D.A. law. This campus is isolated up a canyon and is really it's own planet. Most of the young population here is closed minded Latter Day Saints. The admin here still conducts business with the attitude of the 1930's and 40's. They tell you what to do and how to live. On campus housing is a joke and they make policies that exceed law. Go to a school that is more modern. Athletics take priority over students. Many of the music classes here are taught by grad students who are poor classroom teachers. Go to another school.

Quite Bright
I have been going here for a few months now and I really dislike it, it's incredibly hard to make friends. I live in a building where it is predominately mormon and they are just so boring and ALL THE SAME. Really though, it is crazy, they are all the same, with their over friendly personalities which only want to associate themselves with other close minded mormons. I am obviously not mormon but I am open to hanging out and getting to know anyone but they are so brain washed all of them mostly talk about the guys they barely have even gotten to know, whom they are going to marry (that is their highest priority). I am so bored, there is no college night life, and I dont just mean NO ONE drinks but there are no "get togethers", nothing. its just so boring, I can not try and convey that enough. You wont get a "college experience" here just the school trying to make you buy as much "USU" things as possible. boring. the classwork is ok i guess, mostly just taking notes and then exams on 3 chapters after a few weeks, you honestly dont even need to go to class, they teach right from the book, its more helpful to actually read it yourself and take notes, they literally just mirror the book. ah.
