 | | When I write a review about a professor, or university, etc. I always try to be very respectful, and polite, even, if it's a negative review. But I find that very difficult, because I am furious, with the counselors at this school. I was flat out lied to, by the staff, about my chances of actually getting into a program at this school, and because of this lie, I am now out almost $11,000 dollars. The counselors will obviously say whatever they have to get your tuition money. The professors are rude, condescending, and unavailable. I feel-, so angry and hopeless; going to this Weber State has been the worst mistake of my life, financially, and emotionally, I can't believe that a counselor-, a program advisor, lied, to my face. The campus, isn't safe, the only thing the WS Police enforce are the parking policies (Which will of course make the university more money). | Quite Bright | Weber State is really a commuter school, this leaves all choice to do any student activities in your hands. People who say that there isn't enough to do must need someone to hold their hand a lot, because the campus provides a lot of opportunities to get involved, and to be a part of a campus life. You just have to seek it out, it won't come find you. WSU is not just a 'mormon school,' there is diversity on campus, but you will tend to see whatever you want to see there. | Average | Well fist Lisa in the math department is a real B%*#H she treated my wife who happens to be Hispanic horribly. Don't lose or damage your student card because the fat mean lady will make you pay $20 for a new one. Some of the faculty are nice some are horrible but overall it has been a huge hassle attending Weber State. Get your math done early also unlike some schools such as University of Utah you cannot take any upper division classes without having finished math 1050. | Perceived Campus Safety: A+, Friendliness: F | | | |
