Berea College was a place that I did not enjoy. The faculty ranged from wonderful to terrible as you would expect from any school I guess. The administration is complicated and the majority of them only want your money. Health Services is terrible and tells you to suffer through most of your problems, including severe kidney pain in my case. Counseling services is wonderful on the other hand. The town is very quiet simple and pretty. The college as a whole was a huge disappointment. The buildings are kept in disrepair and student money is wasted on things the school does not need, like $10,000 for a fancy rock for a garden, no joke. Overall, I would NOT go here again, even though some departments were wonderful the majority of the school sucks.

American Military University has a lot going for it. The classes start every month, and the online environment is great for learning. Furthermore the university offers several research resources which are invaluable for learning and study.

The only negative is the fact that a lot of the coursework is easy; however, almost all courses require a "final" research paper between 10 and 12 pages. The professors are hit and miss. I have had a few which have far exceeded my expectations, while others are merely collecting a paycheck.I just want to point out that you get out of something what you put into it. Nothing is more true at AMU. The resources are available for use and to assist in learning facilitation. On the other hand, if you want to squeak by with the bare minimum you can still get a degree here.

Not so bright
Pros:
Flexible, easy, too easy
Cons:
Way too easy, not very challenging, Professors are unhelpful, it's a copy and paste to get an AOn my last class one student literally copied and pasted word for word their discussion and got 100%, unbelievable. and the professor complimented this student on how well his discussion was written. I have been to B&M schools before this and that would not have gone so well. But I do have to say that not all professors nor classes were like this. But the overall challenge is what you make it.
Scholastic Success: A+, Useful Schoolwork: F
