 | Bright | If you get accepted to any other school, please, for your own safety, go there instead. CNU has a questionably legal judicial process that puts Nazi Germany to shame. Instead of being innocent until proven guilty, CNU makes you guilty until proven innocent. What they do is charge you with whatever they think you did, then you either have to admit to it, or you get an honor code violation. There is no appeal process. This alcohol violation that I am holding in my hand right now says at the very end ?the above findings cannot be appealed??. I got this violation for being at a party, at which I did not drink. But it doesn?t matter. The school thinks I did. So now I have this $100 fine, 20 hours of community service, and 15 pages to write. This schools pathetic excuse for a judicial system is a mockery to the Constitution of the United States and to all academic institutions across the world. Why a former Republican senator would choose to run his school in such a dictatorial fashion is lost to me. | Campus Aesthetics: B+, Education Quality: F | | | |

| | Bright | The policies and judicial procedures pertaining to them at this school are utterly ridiculous. Throw your 5th Amendment rights out the door. I got a drunk in public on my own driveway in a house off campus and the school charged me with an alcohol violation and disorderly conduct. i went through the judicial process that essentially forces you to incriminate yourself or be a liar. I now have to write a letter, pay a $100.00 fine, do 15 hours of service, attend counseling, do alcohol education, and one other education requirement. I cannot appeal the sanctions because there was no violation of my due process rights according to cnu policy. Word of advice: go somewhere else. between the mediocre education i am getting, the predatory policies, and the culture built on false premises; CNU just isnt worth it. | Innovation: A, University Resource Use: B- | | | |

| | Not so bright | I absolutely loved my time at CNU. Classes can be difficult to get into sometimes, but I never had a problem with that. My department always made sure that if you needed the class, you somehow got into it. People are friendly and work with you. By far the prettiest campus I've ever seen. I am now a graduate student at VCU and there is not a day that I don't miss being at CNU. | Education Quality: A+, Social Life: A- | | | |
