1842, Holins has been a leader in liberal arts education
for women and has produced graduates who successfully enter a
wide range of professions. Hollins is located
on a beautiful 475-acre campus in Roanoke, Virginia. A residential
campus, Hollins draws some 800 undergraduates from 45 states and
10 countries. The student/faculty ratio is nine to one; 82
percent of our classes have fewer than 20 students.
Students enjoy Hollins' challenging and supportive academic environment
and our focus on individualized learning. Hollins offers engaging academic
programs in 29 majors, superior teaching, and extensive study abroad,
internship, and service opportunities. Our strong financial assistance
