The school looks nice and all, but it is completely devoid of anything fun to do. Most of the people that come here are drinkers, smokers, etc. If you just wanna have clean fun, it's impossible without being bored as hell. By the way, if you're from New Jersey, DO NOT come here. The people down here really think that all Jersey people are like those stupid people from the Jersey Shore show. And any kinda joke we have up in Jersey, Lynchburg will not understand it. Plus, some of the students are pretty dumb. I'm not being mean, I'm telling the truth. It's easy to be the smartest kid in class when almost everyone else is a bunch of idiots. All they listen to is Lil Wayne and Wiz Khalifa. And the pace is very slow. I had to wait at Subway for almost ten minutes, while some lady was taking her sweet old time ordering a sub. The food in the dining hall is terrible. Absolutely terrible. Once again, if you're from Jersey, DO NOT eat their pizza or pasta or anything Italian. They do such a horrible job at it. I really thought the stereotypes about the South were false, but after being here for 1 year, the stereotypes are legit. They're nice, but they're dumb. The pace is very very slow and there's nothing to do except "hang out" at WalMart. The only thing good is that it's a small school and the faculty are really nice. And if you're an incoming freshman, you'll more than likely get a scholarship. But honestly, because of the devoid social scene, as well as the lack of diversity among the students, it's too easy to hate this place.

I believe that this school is a waste of your time and money. Why you pay 37,000 to go to the 13th grade? The campus is very beautiful but its used to lure people in. Once you have completed a semester there no one cares about its all about gaining more incoming students. The nicest staff that they have is in the cafeteria and the alumni house, and they are all old. The food is very boring and on a rotation schedule, there is never anything new. The party life is horrible. The people are snotty and arrogant. Its the same people and songs every weekend and the only place that you can go to have "fun" is Wal-Mart;since everything else is closed at sundown. And finally academics, they are a joke. There is no challenge with any course that you take, finally grades are given on how often you visited the professor and if they like you or not. If you want a good college experience do not come here. I transferred out after 3 semesters. Ask me anything you want to know and i will be glad to tell you.

This school sucks. My freshmen year there were a decent amount of parties, but the school is currently in a dry spell and unless you feel like seeing the same exact people ever single weekend for 4 (or in the case of Lynchburg students, 5 or 6) years DON'T GO. It's too expensive for a school that doesn't hold any prestige to employers or graduate schools. They have ridiculous drug policies, you can't even have a hookah on campus. Don't waste your time.
