The people were very friendly everywhere on campus. I made wonderful friends. The Historic Preservation Program was very good at preparing me for my future work in the Cultural Resources and museum field. I thought it was an excellent college experience. Its a smaller University so I find it a very close knit community and the professors here know me by name and are very helpful. I have had no problem getting in touch with them or asking questions, normally they are happy to help. As for social life, here at UMW you have to become involved in something whether a sport, club or group to meet people and have fun. I have made great friends here and never want to leave!
