I started working part-time at Bank of America while I was a full-time student; once I graduated from NSU I had no problem with landing a manager position. Plus, be ready to start working on your MBA within 2 to 3 years after graduation. You have to maintain that edge over your peeps. So many life lessons were learned there from classes, from friends, and just by having conversation with some of the staff that I'd run into while going to class. NSU has a rep as a party school. Not totally true. EVERY SCHOOL HAS PARTIES!!! EVERY SCHOOL!!! Play around at NSU and party more than you study, and you'll find yourself either being thrown out of school or placed on academic probation - TRUST ME, MANY OF MY FRIENDS HAD THIS HAPPEN!!! I love NSU because of the love the NSU family showed me. And if I had to do it over again, I wouldn't hestitate. And I always try to find a way to give back. HBCU's rock, especially NSU. NSU is a leader in several academic categories, and the athletics teams recently WON the MEAC conference ALL-SPORTS trophy. The SpArTAN Legion is a great band... the campus is maintained well... the students are lively (well sometimes) and the parties are off the chains (and FREE)!!! BEHOLD! The physical plant is completely useless. There are leaks in the roofs. The library computer runs the A/C at full blast in the winter.
