Not so bright
At first the school does not seem like its all that, however i believe I only felt that way because I did not get involved that much my first semester there, but if you get involved with other people and groups/organizations and get out more instead of staying in your dorm all day its a lot of fun. i enjoyed my first year there and would recommend it to anyone.

Not so bright
This school is actually amazing. I love it. I am a freshman and I hear a lot of students complain and I believe that they complain because they aren't doing anything. College is what you make of it. The classes are challenging but fun. I know my professors very well. The dorms are actually really nice. We have a brand new lobby attached to Funk/Gore that has a fire place and a green roof. The free tutoring is amazing and very helpful. I really can't find much wrong with this school at all. However if you like to party, this really isn't the school for you. The Majority of students do not party at all.

Quite Bright
Things have gotten so bad here that I'm ashamed to call myself a graduate. The school is becoming more and more irrelevant as they hire more pop music faculty. I think this is largely due to Darla Hanley's influence. We can thank her for some of the worst hires possible in musicology and music ed. We have a "professor" who specializes in Motown. Also, the school recently sponsored a convention on pop singing. I could go on and on about the many failing of this school. Also, I have to agree with some of the comments made by others about the incompetence of the administration and the school's inclination to repeatedly change degree requirements or cut programs. They really don't care about you. It's all about picking up a paycheck.
