I know too many people who go there and it is like being in high school again. Same cliques, same politics, same arrogant rude people. The book keeping is terrible. It took them six months to get my transcripts and testing information on file so it put me behind in my classes. I also got selected for FAFSA verification. They kept losing the paperwork which had confidential information on it. Then they informed me on the day tuition was due that I had to pay several thousand dollars out of pocket. They did not give me enough notice to get finances in order. The people at their financial aid office in Portsmouth are very rude and unprofessional. The students who work the front desk in the advising office text in front of you when you are trying to get information. The school is terrible! They give you the run around and everyone that I have talked to doesn't seem interested to help any student. They get your money and you are on your own to figure out everything else. There's ridiculously long waits for financial aid and for academic advisors. I have been attending this school for a month now and I can not wait to leave. If you want help you may as well ask someone on the street. DO NOT rely on the faculty to do what they say they will, they will drop the ball and screw you over. At TCC it's all about the Benjamins.
