Super Brilliant
If you are good enough to ride in the Olympics tomorrow, they will like you. Otherwise, be prepared to be sidelined and wave pompoms for everyone else.

Quite Bright
VI is the worst school. There is nothing to do unless you want to go to the horse stables. The current president is trying to fix everything up, but there is no money. The school does little in the community so there is no respect for VI. The entire place ALWAYS smells like horse dung. The only entertainment is going to Walmart. There is one under 21 club, but it is pretty much a bunch of 12 year olds dressing up, sneaking out, and acting like hoes. There are only two parking lots, and cars in 'the cage' frequently are robbed. The 2 security guards are really old, and they frequently fall asleep during their shifts.

Only equine majors get updated things because that is where the school gets the little amount of money it has. The equine students are really rude and condescending.

I went as a photography major, and the only updated thing on campus was the mac lab. There is a separate computer lab for photo and graphic design students so that is where you need to go for internet.

there are giant rats in the walls and kitchen. There are also ants in the radiators and huge nasty caterpillars that are in everything. The bathrooms always flood to the point in which it drains down to the floor underneath. The internet always goes down, especially on weekends. The school has asbestus and mold, and in my dorm part of the ceiling fell. [They said it was my fault that it fell, which it couldn't have been because I cannot reach 16 feet and I was on the fourth floor of west - which is the top floor.] The bathroom looked window looked directly into my window inside my dorm. The steps are very uneven, and they only have an elevator in intermont dorms. The elevator is almost always broken.

the kitchen food is never fresh, and its never open when it needs to be. on weekends, breakfast closes at 9AM when nobody is awake. The food is made for old people (which is nasty) that come to dine in the really outdated dining hall. This is the only place on campus with air conditioning.

I was told I would play volleyball but the coach lied to my face. Instead, they signed a different girl and they lost every game they played. The basketball teams are filled with people with below average IQ's, but they run the school. The basketball games aren't entertaining because the teams are awful. The golf boys are really terrible people and the soccer boys are just straight up nasty.

They say it is a 'dry' campus, but everyone has alcohol unless your RA doesn't like you. Then the RA's will narc on you for stupid things like 'walking too loud' or sneezing and causing a disruption. This school is a party school for the area.

The school is on probationary accreditation - which goes to show the teachers are terrible.
There are only 2 photo teachers, Neil and Jay, who are actually really good in the field. They are the only ones that know something about photography. Also, these 2 are the only ones that will listen if there is a concern with grades or work.If you're thinking about going here run as far and as fast as you possibly can in the opposite direction. Whatever you do, stay away!
