I am an out of state student, and PLEASE do not come here . It is a waste of youe money . Most of the students do not care about there future and. Just fool around . They are disrespectful to the teachers and the classroom setting feels like high school. If u do plan on doing something with your life do not attend his school. The school does not even challenge you , the only class I can say felt like I was in college is dr carsons class. Other then that no people fall asleep , don't show up because they don't care... teachers sometimes too theyre not organized at all. And if youre from up north youll need some adjusting because you are now in the country... everyone is basically immature and has the latest designer clothes and shoes bt failng all there classes . Drama is definitely a high at this school , females hate. If u want to be around mature people don't come here you are wasting your money .

Please do your research before you attend I'm an out of state student who read these reviews and thought most of them are biased but it's very true the staff is extremely unorganized when I was a freshman they out me in a senior level class and I had not taken certain classes to qualify me for that class the only thing I didn't have a problem with was financial aid which is surprising the school is an open campus so random people who live in the area can just walk on campus at anytime the school does have security and police but not enough to see everywhere. The school is the the country if you don't have a car there is really not much to do besides hang out in the gazebos and the food is horrible just do your research before attending

I really hate everything about this school except for my department, thats the only reason why I'm still here that and the fact that most colleges dont accept VSU transfer credits. Some of these classes are unheard of at any other college. I never thought that I would dislike all of my years at VSU. The only way you will make it at VSU is if you join an organization. If your not in a organization then your pretty much a nobody on campus. VSU will take your money and leave you out to dry. You will not recieve any help unless your an athlete or an organization or get along with your professors. For the amount of money that we have to pay its definately not worth coming here. The athletics program suck, they will make all these false promises and you will never recieve your scholarship if you are a recruit. Your better of going somewhere else.
