Sort By: [Date] [Major] [Rating] Communications  Major Salary, Salary Trend, Satisfaction, Unemployment Quite Bright I believe that VSU is truly what you make it. It has some GREAT programs, such as the sciences, business and math, but the Communications department is another story. I transferred here from another university that was not an HBCU and there is a HUGE difference. Some students see VSU as simply a continuation of high school, where cutting class, not doing your work or just slacking off is cool. As far as faculty, for the most part they do care, and most of my professors here know my name (unlike my old school). I am just disappointed with how unorganized the VSU administration can be. I have not been given adequate help when I ask questions and have been given a "run around" to get things done. I feel that I can get a better education somewhere else and am looking to transfer before it is too late. If i had another major, such as business or science I would probably love my program since the business school and science programs are excellent but I do not wish to change over.
