I found Virginia Tech to be a greatBiology
I found Virginia Tech to be a great place for me. The stone clad Neo Gothic style found at VPI is absolutely breath taking. The campus is very organized and constantly growing. During my time at VT, the school invested something along the lines of 300-400 million in the construction of new facilities. I saw a medical school open and saw our business school (MBA) move into the top 40 according to the Financial Times. Undergraduate students continue to get brigher and are now getting very close to a 4.0 and scoring 1160-1350 on their SATs - a significant increase from when I applied. Most students at Blacksburg are well off, and in some cases, put a premium on lacoste shirts, gucci shoes and fraternal affiliation, but the campus is not entirely the preppy old money virginia demographic with students coming from all 50 states and many different countries. I had friends from Panama, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi, Venezuela and Bulgaria. Blacksburg is also growing. More money is being invested in the town and surrounding area, making it a more agreeable place to come and study. I would advise anyone (especially future graduate students) to look into Virginia Tech as a serious choice provided you have the grades and the money.

Question
Honestly, VT sucks.BrightArchitecture
Honestly, VT sucks. I can't believe I have endured two years here. For the most part it rains all Fall, snows all Winter, and rains all Spring. Classes are taught by GA's rather than real profs. Most of my high school teachers had more education. It's a waste of $.
