WHY? That's what I ask myself nearly every day at Tech. I could have gone to Penn State with friends, but instead went to Tech on a scholarship. Now I know why they give out money so easily!

Quite Bright
The students are friendly. School spirit is high and contagious. Professors are approachable, especially if you take the effort to introduce yourself. The architecture professors and very involved and dedicated. The first year of studio is a joke, though. They are trying to change the program but my freshman year was more of a party than an education. Life revolves around football season. The campus is set in the appalachian mountains and the appalachian trail and is minutes away and provides for beautiful hikes and other outdoor adventures. Night and weekend life is always fun and there is never a dull moment. The campus opens up into downtown where there are restuarants and bars, all within walking distance of dorms and apartments. The food in both the dining halls and the surrounding town is surprisingly good. I am from out of state and I dont have anything negative to say about this university. I have loved every minute of my time at the university and I would recommend it to any of my friends.

VT is a crock! You are taught more by graduate students with less education than your high school teachers. Don't waste your money on this cracker jack school.
