Anybody that goes here really has to be ambitious and intiate things. Go out and search for things to do, make your own clubs, push your way into 1 of the 4 clubs they actually advertise by something other than word of mouth. The campus is small, and in order to really get a good experience out of this place you need to know almost everyone or else you won't know what the heck is going on half the time.

Also, there aren't many classes to choose, or professors, and registration is a bitch. The upperclassmen tend to get into more and better classes, if only because they know the teacher and so are basically put on the list before registration period even starts and therefore don't have to stand in the 5 hr. lines for 1 class, while the other class you want is being filled. But everyone is also really nice and, while the resources may not be the greatest, the work is creative and the teachers are accesible and willing to help.

Super Brilliant
I would have studied Math and Computer Science, which were not required at Bennington when I was there. People who major in subjects such as Literature, Art or Music should still study Math and Computers to open more career doors.

The Bennington I went to is not the same school that currently exists. See other comments about this. I believe the president is a power hungry and manipulative and took advantage of Bennington and its reputation during an unstable time and recreated the school to her liking. Stay away.
