The faculty all have a Master's/PhD degree plus years of experience. They challenge the students and offer hands on courses that prepare Business Students for the real world. Be prepared for a lot of business formal presentations and strict guidelines for senior level courses. Internships and schoolwork prepared me for Graduate School. If your into partying,city life and huge classes, this school is not for you. Education Quality: A+, Surrounding City: B- Have a Question? They are the reason for the negative review. Other than my department, I found the majority of my professors to be helpful and encouraging. I especially found the education department to be of excellent quality. Overall, the campus is well maintained except for the dorms which can be a little run-down at times. There isn't much to do socially, but Castleton is a nice small school with fairly reasonable tuition. As an overall college, Castleton is great. As a music college/program, Castleton is definitely not worth your time or your money. Perceived Campus Safety: A+, Education Quality: F Have a Question? I personally wouldnt suggest this school to anyone from a suburban or residential area outside of vermont because you will find yourself bored 99% of the time Friendliness: A, Social Life: F Have a Question?
