Classes are held live, which mean you have to talk via a mic, and attendance is mandatory. This feature has good and bad aspects. It's nice to be able to hear peoples voices and you can make friends unlike other online schools. However, in all the classes they followed the same formula, each student gives a presentation on a section of the days assigned reading. It gets really monotonous and students barely listen during the daily presentations. There are a lot of teamwork assignments too. If you are looking for a school that will give you a degree fast and you aren't too picky about the curriculum this may be the place for you. The staff is so nice they always get right back to you and I even got extra money back from my student loans because their tuition is so low. However, if you are looking for a degree from a regionally accredited school (crown is nationally acc.)and you really want to absorb what you are learning, then you may want to try elsewhere.
