To provide some better background, I am aBrightGeography and Geosciences
To provide some better background, I am a freshman here at CWU. This school is fantastic if you want to get a degree in your major, the faculty/professors make an effort to help you on your way to success. Academically speaking, CWU will give you a good level of challenge where you will not be overwhelmed for the most part.

As far as social life and nightlife go, this university is an abysmal failure. There are a few clubs and organizations that can help students get involved, but for the most part, people will stick with their small groups of friends from high school and won't want to branch out to meet other people. Diversity here is nonexistent, 1% of students who attend here will go abroad, and there are few programs to help introverted students feel connected with the rest of the community. In short, if you want a cheap university where the professors will help you pass, this is a fantastic pick. If you want a meaningful social life and you want to make life-long friends, look elsewhere.

I absolutely love Central.Quite BrightMusic - Performance
I absolutely love Central. It has one of the best music programs in the state of Washington! The learning experiences are unlike any others and you make SO many great friends. Central has a wonderful environment and group of people attending here. Only downside is there is like absolutely nothing to do on weekends, because everything closes so early. But there are always close-by neighboring cities to go to.

The CWU Education Department should be more supportiveEducation
The CWU Education Department should be more supportive of their Interns/Student Teachers. They pull people from teaching due to personal disfavor and biased subjective performance reviews. Qualified applicants are being pulled from their internship and forced out of the Education major, people who had good grades and met all their testing/homework/paper requirements. They shouldn't be discouraging people from going into the field of Education. Other than this-- the classes were very informational and I learned a lot going here. This college has a good graduation rate and they will let you obtain a bachelors degree after all your hard work, which I'm thankful for.
