 | Quite Bright | I would not recommend CWU to any student. I know the tuition is less than other schools, which is why I went there, but seriously, save yourself the frustration and go somewhere else. I wanted to transfer out of this school within the first quarter. The majority of the teachers are idiots, or they just don't give a crap about their students since they are tenured, and therefore, untouchable and lacking motivation to actually be a responsive, quality professor. I completed a double major, made Dean's list every quarter, and joined honor societies, and through that experience, I can honestly say I only encountered maybe four quality professors that cared about their jobs. Oh, and many of the professors are biased, as in, if you disagree with their opinion (I.e. think for yourself), they will mark you down for doing so. This school is a joke. They are also HIGHLY unorganized. The education is not quality, and it seemed like most of the students were less intelligent than an average middle schooler. Save your time and money. | Preparedness: F, Reputation: F | | |

| | Not so bright | If attending a CWU Center (not on main campus), be prepared to plan your courses carefully by checking previous published schedules as some courses are offered infrequently. Be sure to check graduate school requirements PRIOR TO attending CWU to get a feel for what completed courses you MUST HAVE to satisfy entry requirements of graduate schools. | Faculty Accessibility: A+, University Resource Use: C+ | | | |

| | Bright | This is a great school with much to offer. Most everyone is very respectful and happy to be in college. I've never had a professor that I didn't like but, at times I wish that they would offer more interesting assignments. On campus life is pretty fun and the dorms are large and very comfortable. There are plenty of activities to get involved with; it's just up to you whether you want to participate. A lot of times they have lives bands playing in the main complex which I thought was pretty cool. A lot of people say that this is the "easiest school in Washington to get into." And well, it is. That doesn't mean it lacks in quality. CWU is a beautiful school with plenty to offer. It's also known as a "Party school." And, once again, it is. Very much so. There are huge parties on and off campus every weekend and not-so-large parties during the week practically every day. Expect to be around a lot of this... If you know anything about Ellensburg, WA, you know it's the middle of know where. It's like a town you drive through to grab some fast food and then get out on your road trip to Seattle or Spokane. Once again, great school, not the best, but very fun and lots to offer. | Friendliness: A, Surrounding City: D+ | | | |
