Don't get in with the wrong crowd. One of my friends did that and he's never been the same. There are lots of good crowds and bad crowds at Everett Community. Just choose wisely and have fun. Also, ask students for advice on which professors to take classes from. Some profs are better than others here (though mine have all been fine) and you'll want to know who to pick. Sit upfront the first day. It certainly doesn't hurt, and it may boost your popularity with your prof, oddly enough. | Education Quality: A+, Scholastic Success: B | | | |

| Bright | Hands down, EvCC is the best community college in Washington state. I am now a student at the university level, but my education at EvCC has prepared me for every academic obstacle I've encountered. The students are friendly and the faculty does and excellent job in helping their students succeed. | Individual Value: A+, Social Life: C+ | | | |

| Bright | I am actually a high school student taking dual credit at ECC. The program here is great and it offers plenty of opportunities. The dual credit program (called running start) is really helpful. I'd graduate from HS with about a year of work complete for my future major (at a 4 year university). Faculty and students are much nicer than the local high school. You get to fiddle with neat equipment and are presented with a remarkable library. I am typing on the library computers now... | Education Quality: A, Faculty Accessibility: F | | | |

| Quite Bright | Don't plan on working much, and make sure you are at a spot in your life where you can devote 2 years to school. You cannot wing this program. It is hard, but you will get an extremely good education here. | Education Quality: A+, Collaboration/Competitive: C- | | | |
