My intention for this review is to hopefully warn prospective students away from the same mistake I made by attending EvCC. I'm extremely disappointed that I have essentially wasted the last two years of my life at this school, not to mention thousands of dollars and if I could do it all over again I would take classes elsewhere! Here are some of the many issues I've experienced:

1)Staff is completely unhelpful and blatantly rude. They hold zero concern for the student's success, making you feel like just another number in the system. They are also extremely unorganized, losing papers then pointing fingers instead of solving the problem.

2)HUGE lack of communication on the faculty's part (they've even admitted it on several occasions). One department either gives faulty info to another or completely fails to share the important information. Also, good luck getting someone to answer your phone calls or respond to your messages. I've almost always had to go out of my way to the campus in person if I need a simple question answered.

3)Unfortunately, a large majority of the professors seem to lack a genuine concern for student success, therefore bringing the standard of education down to a very low level. You are most certainly NOT getting what you pay for, in fact I feel like I've learned very little over the last two years. Please do yourself a favor and do not attend Everett Community College.

This school is very disorganized the financial aid office is horrible!!! You can never get in contact with them unless you go wait in a giant line and then when you get up there they send you to a different office then that office sends you back! I had a problem with them every single quarter they kept telling me I was missing paperwork then when I told them to check my file it was in there the entire time!!! They drop your finiacial aid and don't tell you when you file the appeal and it gets approved they don't tell you until a week before the next quarter is about to start.
