| Not so bright | The school is becoming more reputable. About the city guy..the people here in the rural part are really nice. Cars would wave to you and let you pass across them. I don't really like city people myself. Always been a redneck yeeh-haw! Even though Cheney has nothing in it, Spokane is right next by. If you're from the Puget Sound, you can easily take Amtrak and the Grey Hound or book a flight to Spokane and take the Bus/Taxi to get here. The price to attend is very good compared to the the costly private schools. What a deal! EWU is a bang for your buck! They really care about you over here. | Friendliness: A+, Collaboration/Competitive: F | | | |

| Quite Bright | | DO NOT GO TO THIS SCHOOL, I promise you, Eastern Washington University is nothing more than a large community college. Your teachers will mostly be graduate students who no nothing more about the subject, than you. If you are going to live on campus, there is nowhere to park, they will ticket you for anything, and there will be no excitement or entertainment. The administration doesn't show you any courtesy either, all they want is your money they could care less about the quality of your education, even still there is no funding for any of the programs, it's just a horrible place to go to school, trust me, I'm a student here. | | Nov 16 2009 | 1st Year Male --

| Bright | Although I've been accepted here and was about to enroll, I was quite hesistant when I had a visit to the campus. Cheney is in the middle of nowhere, it's very close-nit thus residents here are extremely friendly. Comming from the Puget Sound and driving to Cheney, the closer I got, the more gloomy and depressing it went. There's nothing to do also. I'm a city dweller so this school will never work out for me. Not much variety either when it comes to dining out and shopping. Like any other college(s), they just want your money. If you're here for strictly academics, go, but if you're a city person like me and are use to the unlimited accomadations of city living, you'll be home sick. | Friendliness: A+, Surrounding City: F | | | |

| Quite Bright | This is a monotonous, conservative school lacking in most areas except routine drinking at the local pub when homework doesn?t suit your fancy. I can honestly say that Cheney has absolutely NOTHING IN IT except drinking. Even the parties were pretty sad after a while. The only good thing was the fact that Spokane's nearby. Otherwise, don't go. | Education Quality: A-, Social Life: F | | | |
