| Quite Bright | I am a sophmore at Green River and I have been utilizing the running start program through my highschool so that I graduate with my highschool diploma AND my AA degree. Like half of the students here do running start. Another like 30% is Asian or other international students. The rest are potential university transfer students who had no money or just adults who never got a degree. Be sure you carefully plan your degree so that you don't end up there for three years like some people... | Education Quality: A+, Useful Schoolwork: B | | | |

| Average | GRCC has some great teachers and some really bad ones. Most faculty are liberals, so it kind of sucks. It is kind of a depressing school in some ways. I am glad I will be done soon! PS. Don't take Ken Marr for Biology or Chemistry.. he is the worst teacher ever. | University Resource Use: A+, Social Life: F | | | |

I had *never* gone to any school before starting Green River at 16 years old. It was a new experience that I am glad to have, but can't really compare it to anything else. For the most part, faculty is approachable, but there is the occasional exception. Some classes were cake, other classes really challenged and stretched skills, knowledge, etc. Students can be cliquish, but there seemed to be a clique for everyone... even the quiet kids seemed to band together in a clique of quiet.
The new parts of campus are beautiful, and the landscape is improving. Some buildings are very outdated, but remain in operable and "acceptable" condition.
I graduated in two years with a GPA over 3.8 (which is not to say the school is "easy," by any means), and have found myself to be "desirable" to Universities, though I haven't started at another school yet.
There is not much in the way of student life, but there is a club or society for just about any interest. With facilities for nearly 10,000 students, there is something for everyone at Green River. | Faculty Accessibility: A, Scholastic Success: C | | | |

| Super Brilliant | A great place to go for community college. Most of the profs are really fair and nice. The campus is in the middle of Auburn, so it is isolated somewhat (but what community college isn't). At the same time, the classes are all great and the students are typically friendly, extroverted and relaxed. I went to BCC until I transfered here. People are much less judgemental, the profs are more willing to talk, and the campus is unusually fair as far as politics go. | Education Quality: A+, Surrounding City: D | | | |
